Forever In Our Hearts
Our Lakeside Golf family is wide reaching, and with that comes the bittersweet reality that some of our cherished members are no longer with us. Our hearts go out to all who are grieving. We hold our departed friends in grateful remembrance, honoring the joy and camaraderie they brought to our golfing community. May their families find comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.
Dick Siddall
With deep sadness, we share the passing of longtime member Dick Siddall, whose connection to our golfing community spanned more than 50 years. Dick lived life to the fullest. He was deeply respected, endlessly kind, quick with a smart remark and never shy about sharing an opinion.
On the course, he was known for his remarkably short backswing, his skillful play, and his ability to make any round—competitive or casual—more enjoyable. And when the golf was done, you could always find him on the front patio, surrounded by friends, swapping stories and laughter. Over the years Dick won an impressive 5 Club Championship titles.
Rowan Garnett
Our heartfelt prayers go out to the family of Rowan Garnett, who unexpectedtly passed away March 21st. Rowan was a dedicated husband and family man enjoying many golf rounds with Nancy and granddaughter Abi. Rowan was a wonderful asset to Lakeside—teeing it up with friends, always lending a helping hand, easygoing in nature and faithfully bringing your morning java with a smile.
He also contributed greatly to the Mac Arthurs Group, where his knowledge, dedication, and steady presence will be deeply missed. Rowan touched many lives through his kindness and work ethic, and his absence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
